About Lot 14 Auctions

SERVING GREAT CHICAGOLAND ORGANIZATIONS

In the Chicagoland area, there are thousands of great charitable organizations, foundations, schools and houses of religion looking for new ways to raise funds in support of their missions. Their leadership, staff and dedicated volunteers often struggle to balance the need for resources with the need to strengthen their connections to constituents, while avoiding "burn out" and "donor fatigue" among their greatest assets -- the amazing people who give their time, money and expertise.

WITH A DIFFERENT TYPE OF AUCTION SERVICE

Lot 14 helps nonprofit organizations raise money by helping their constituents sell the things they no longer need, use or enjoy at a live auction. Sellers may either sell on consignment, with the recipient organization receiving 10% of the "hammer price," or donate the entire proceeds of their items's sold. Recipient organizations help staff and promote the auctions in return for the ability to raise thousands of dollars without sharing their email list or spending any of their own money.

COMBINING A FAMILY TRADITION WITH A COMMITMENT TO SERVICE

Ian Kasper is a third generation auctioneer and an attorney. He developed the idea for Lot 14 Auctions following decades of involvement working and volunteering with organizations and services that benefit under-served youths and adults in Florida, Boston and the Chicago area.
